Here's what you can expect during an Intuitive Massage session:

• Attire: Please wear your loosest and most comfortable clothing. There is no need to remove garments as this practice uses compressions and various pressure techniques to identify areas needing ease or release.

• Initial Discussion: The treatment begins with a discussion to understand your needs, identify areas to focus on or avoid. We also offer a Hara diagnosis - this is a primary diagnostic tool in Zen Shiatsu that involves gentle palpation around the abdomen to determine if a meridian is kyo (deficient) or jitsu (in excess). This is always performed with care and only with your verbal consent.

• Treatment Techniques: We apply pressure, mobilize, and stretch to create a free flow of energy and support your musculoskeletal, nervous, and digestive systems.

• Overall Experience: You can anticipate a warm, slow-paced session with intuitive holds, intentional rests, nourishment, and a sense of release.
